Our furry friends are part of our families. I cannot imagine our daily routine without our two cats and their antics! In this article, I gathered pensioner discounts on veterinary services, pet food and pet grooming.

There are some great organisations out there, like the SPCA and the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL), who really go the extra mile to assist pensioners with essential veterinary services either for free or at greatly discounted rates.
In researching pensioner discounts for this article, I contacted the AACL and apart from the assistance on offer outlined below, they made it clear that their doors, at branches across South Africa, are wide open to offer assistance to pensioners – just ask.
If you are in a position to support these organisations do reach out and donate to their great cause 🙏
