Ten malls in South Africa offering amazing pensioner deals and pensioner days!

Once again it feels like we have skipped autumn and went straight into winter! Winter weather means less time spent outdoors. But fret not for we have found so many amazing deals on offer, by no less than 10 malls across the country, that spending time indoors may just be more fun and affordable than you thought.

Deals range from discounts offered on groceries, books, meals to even discounted indoor bowling. Many of the malls featured here offer special pensioner days when parking is free for pensioners and most participating shops will have deals on offer limiting travel to one day per week.

Malls prioritising pensioner days and discounts

The malls we list here either have special days dedicated to pensioners when participating stores list their deals or they have loyalty programmes, which require sign up for free to unlock the deals on offer. Below, we unpack what is on offer and how to access it for easy shopper savings.

1) V&A Waterfront Seniors Programme (Cape Town, Western Cape): By joining this loyalty programme, over 60s have access to free parking, on weekdays, until 14h00 and enjoy various discounts on offer by the shops and entertainment housed at the Waterfront. Read more about this deal here.

2) Longbeach Mall (Noordhoek, Western Cape): No less than 16 shops within this mall offer special discounts for pensioners. It is easy to see all these deals in one place on our website.
