Pensioners’ discount for Funicular rides at Cape Point

South African pensioners aged 60 and over get special rates for the Cape Point funicular – a great way to enjoy the view without the climb!

To qualify, you must show your South African ID, driver’s licence, or passport – a clear photo on your phone is also accepted.

Tickets must be bought at the Cape Point ticket office – pensioner rates are not available online.

Prices increase annually on 1 November, so plan your visit accordingly!
